Profile

Stanley has built a distinguished reputation for legal counsel in matters involving real estate transactions. He has practiced in the area of commercial real estate including the sale, purchase, financing and leasing of commercial and industrial property and the general field of landlord - tenant law. Stanley has represented many of the major real estate developers, tenants and brokers on Long Island in a broad array of sophisticated and complex real estate transactions including Industrial Development Agency transactions, land leases and tax-free exchanges. He brings an astute financial sense to real estate transactions with a reputation for finding simple solutions to complex real estate problems.

Stanley actively participates in legal as well as civic organizations. He is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association where he serves on the Board of Directors. He has been the President of the Nassau Lawyers Association of Long Island. Stanley formerly chaired the Town of Huntington Zoning Board of Appeals where he was a member for thirteen years.

The New York State Office of Court Administration has conferred Attorney Emeritus status on Stanley. He also has been appointed by the Nassau County Supreme Court as an Arbitrator in attorney-client fee disputes.

Stanley has been awarded a Distinguished Rating for his professionalism and the quality of his legal work from Martindale Hubbell, the premier directory of legal professionals. He is a graduate of the Wharton School of Finance and Commerce at the University of Pennsylvania and he earned his law degree from New York Law School. Stan is admitted to practice in the courts of New York, as well as the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern District, the United States Court of Military Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.

Away from the practice of law, Stan is an avid bridge player and is a Silver Life Master with the American Contract Bridge League. In addition, he completed the Classe Culinaire des Croisieres Workshop from Le Cordon Bleu culinary school.
