Profile

Brett D. Zinner is a Partner of Rosenberg Fortuna & Laitman, LLP, having joined the firm in June 2013. As a member of the firm's commercial, corporate and securities litigation practice groups, he is responsible for all aspects of litigation, having conducted numerous jury trials, bench trials, and appeals. He has broad-based experience in general commercial disputes and has handled various class action lawsuits. Mr. Zinner has extensive experience representing both broker-dealer firms and customer-claimants in securities arbitrations conducted through the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). He has substantial experience in securities regulatory examinations, investigations, and disciplinary matters, as well as issues relating to compliance with securities laws.

In addition to litigation support, Mr. Zinner provides general corporate counsel to emerging businesses and their founders every day on a range of commercial matters and corporate transactions, including structuring equity and debt financings, acquisition transactions and employment related matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Zinner was a partner at the law firm of McLaughlin & Stern, LLP, practicing in the above areas of law.

Mr. Zinner is admitted to practice law in New York (2000), and before the United States District Court for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York (2001).
