Mr. Laitman, a partner at Rosenberg Fortuna & Laitman, LLP in NY, has been appointed an Associate Member of the board where he will help the organization further its mission of improving patient care, providing valuable patient family resources, and fostering public awareness.
The Alzheimer's Foundation of America (AFA) consists of various, partnering organizations and individuals whose mission it is to "to fill the gap that existed on a national level to assure quality of care and excellence in service to individuals with Alzheimer's disease and related illnesses, and to their caregivers and families." AFA believes that building public awareness will help remove community stigma, lead to better, earlier treatments, and result in a better quality of life for those affected by the disease.
Mr. Laitman has been a partner at Rosenberg Fortuna & Laitman, LLP for a decade. A graduate of Hofstra University School of Law, he has focused his career on commercial and real estate litigation, appellate law, and internet technology matters. He maintains membership with North Shore-LIJ Health System Commerce and Industry Council and the Board of Directors of the Hofstra University School of Law, Alumni Association. He also serves on the Legal Affairs Council of the Interactive Advertising Bureau.
