ROSENBERG FORTUNA & LAITMAN, LLP ANNOUNCES ADDITION OF ATTORNEY ANTHONY T. WLADYKA, III TO PRACTICE

David I. Rosenberg, Senior Partner in the Garden City-based law firm of Rosenberg Fortuna
& Laitman, LLP, has announced that Anthony T. Wladyka, III has joined the firm as Counsel
in its Commercial Litigation, Corporate Litigation, Real Estate Litigation and Appellate Practice
Groups.

According to Rosenberg, “We are pleased to welcome Anthony Wladyka, a skilled litigator with a substantial depth of knowledge. His addition to our roster of legal professionals continues the ongoing growth of our firm, further establishing Rosenberg Fortuna & Laitman as a prominent member of the legal community.”

As Counsel, Wladyka handles all aspects of case strategy, motion practice, discovery, trial appeals, and settlements. He has extensive experience in conducting and managing electronic discovery and examining and preparing witnesses.

ABOUT MR. WLADYKA
Prior to joining Rosenberg Fortuna & Laitman, LLP, Wladyka was a senior associate at
Proskauer Rose LLP in New York City, where he started as a summer associate in 2000. In that
position, he handled an array of matters which included commercial, construction and real estate litigation; federal and state antitrust litigation and consumer protection litigation; and trade secret, non-compete and business tort litigations, among other practice areas.

Wladyka’s representations have included pursuing claims on behalf of a professional sports franchise related to construction of its facilities; representing real estate owners and developers in a variety of disputes with local government, boards and associations, and other private individuals and entities; defending clients in actions related to legal and industry requirements for buildings; and counseling sports and entertainment law clients. Wladyka has also assisted pro bono clients in adoption, Social Security and not-for-profit corporation law.

While attending New York University School of Law, Wladyka served as a Student Assistant
District Attorney in the Bronx (NY) County District Attorney’s Office from August 2000-May
2001. In 1999, he served as the Judicial Intern to the Honorable Philip B. Cummis, Superior Court of New Jersey, Essex County in Newark.

Wladyka is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey. He is also admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Second and Third Circuits and the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. He is the Coauthor of Chapter 37: “Presentation of the Case in Chief” in Commercial Litigation in New York State Courts, Third Edition (Robert L. Haig, ed.) (West 2010).; Reviewer, Indirect Purchaser Lawsuits: A State by State Survey, (McCarthy, Price and Seador, eds.) (ABA 2010)
