Profile
Cally Schickler joined Rosenberg Fortuna & Laitman, LLP in 2003 and is an associate at the firm. She concentrates her practice in commercial litigation and real estate. Ms. Schickler focuses on all aspects of commercial litigation, including the preparation of pleadings and motion papers, preparation of discovery, conducting and defending depositions, settlement negotiations, court appearances and trial preparation. Ms. Schickler also handles landlord/tenant litigation and residential real estate closings.
While attending law school, Ms. Schickler was a summer legal intern for the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality and the New York Department of Environmental Protection, establishing her knowledge and interest in environmental law, which she applies today to her litigation and real estate work. After graduation from law school, Ms. Schickler was an associate for a law firm in Phoenix, Arizona. During this time, she worked in that firm’s civil litigation, real estate and construction defect litigation departments.
Previously, Ms. Schickler worked as a closing agent for a New York City law firm, where she attended closings, and acted on behalf of the firm’s clients with respect to residential closings and foreclosures.
Ms. Schickler is fluent in speaking, reading and writing Greek.

Ms. Schickler is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association, as well as the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity.

Ms. Schickler is admitted to practice law in New York and Arizona, and before the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
